Job Profile

The company is hiring a MIG/TIG Welder who will be responsible for welding/assembling components and subassemblies following company standards.

Working primarily in a manufacturing setting, the successful candidate will work under the direction of a Manufacturing Supervisor.

Educational Level

Work Experience

  • 1-5 years of welding in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with NDE Procedures
  • MIG/TIG experience
  • Previous experience of welding materials such as Titanium and Copper Nickel
  • Previous pipefitting experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assembly of pipe sections, tubing, or fittings with the use of welding equipment
  • Comprehend and follow ISO procedures to ensure compliance with standard
  • Daily pipe welding of materials such as stainless steel, Titanium, and Copper Nickel
  • Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within the required time
  • Guide/mentor/train co-workers following company standards
  • Layout of full-scale drawings of pipe systems according to specifications
  • Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
  • Movement of materials or finished products to facilitate proper flow within the manufacturing process
  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement program
  • Perform other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
  • Perform rigging, lifting, and moving of products using cranes, forklifts, metal carts, etc.
  • Welding of pipes using specialized techniques, equipment, or materials.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Able to work overtime as required
  • Advanced reading and interpretation of blueprints/drawings
  • Advanced shop math, layout, and measurement skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding to the outside ambient temperature
  • Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on cement surfaces and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, squat, climb ladders, and climb stairs
