Job Profile

The company is searching for a MIG Welder who will weld components using manual, semi-automatic, or robotic welding equipment.

Education Level

• High School Education or GED

Work Experience

• At least 6-12 months of related skilled experience or training
• An equivalent combination of education and experience
• Pass a pre-placement weld test (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Change over set up
• Check gas levels. Replenish as necessary
• Check parts for conformance to specifications using gauges, calipers, micrometers, steel rules, and other precision measuring devices.
• Completion and submission at the end of each shift, of appropriate documentation for quality compliance and production requirements.
• Consistent use of personal protective equipment.
• MIG Welding manually with attention to detail.
• Operates a variety of power and non-power hand tools.
• Use of a computer for logging in and out of each job using the data workstation.

Certificates/Licenses

• Welding Certification is preferable

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to lift, load, unload, and package parts, as required.
• Ability to test and inspect weld surfaces
