Job Profile

The company is recruiting a MIG Welder who will be responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

Primary responsibility is to weld on the Honda Line.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
• A Weld Vocational Tech certification is preferred.

Work Experience

• The candidates should have 1 year of work experience in various forms of welding, preferably in a production environment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Knowledge of wire, filler materials, and gases applicable for various steel alloys
• Maintains welding equipment
• Performs finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
• Sets fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) as required

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read blueprints, especially weld requirement symbols
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Knowledge of wire and filler materials and gases application for various alloys, working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
• Proficient in MIG welding techniques
• Successful completion of an internal welding test, and the ability to achieve certification to customer requirements as applicable
