Job Profile

The company (Keller Electrical Industries) is recruiting a Millwright II with welding experience for its Mechanical Services Division.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet applicants may be required a High School Diploma

Work Experience

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience (required)
• MSHA certification is a plus
• Millwright Mechanic

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to use logical step-by-step procedures
• Assembly and installation of conveyor systems, equipment, and machinery
• Fit/Install bearings, align gears, and shafts, attach motors, connect coupling and belts to precise tolerances
• Maintain minimum tool list
• Operate rigging equipment and perform simple to complex rigging operations
• Repair or replace defective parts within precise limits and standards

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Be self-sufficient, have excellent problem-solving skills, and work efficiently with a high-level accuracy of the accuracy
• Be willing to travel to different locations throughout Arizona and the Southwest
• Be computer literate with experience using e-mail and word processing applications (Microsoft Office).
• Demonstrates ability to supervise diverse work groups in a team environment using effective listening, coaching, training, investigative and problem-solving skills, ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and effective time management in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
• Have a professional demeanor and the ability to work with others.
• Mechanically minded with strong fabrication skills
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Must Possess clean MVR, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
• Performs other duties as assigned
• To work overtime as projects and jobs require

Work Environment

• Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 60%) of the job
• Involve exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment
• Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, or constant loud noise
