Job Profile

The company is seeking a Millwright Maintenance Mechanic for a leading producer of roofing granules to perform a variety of craft duties involved in constructing, maintaining, and repairing plant facilities. This includes a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment.

Provide electrical support services to the site.

Education Level

  • Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

  • Previous maintenance experience in an industrial setting (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Perform activities associated with welding, fabrication, repair, rebuilding, installation, and demolition of the plant’s buildings, equipment, and machinery
  • Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools and equipment under his/her control
  • Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of the work area
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions
  • Must demonstrate ability and skill with welding (primarily Stick welding)
