Job Profile

The company is looking for a Mine Maintenance Planner to join its manufacturing team.

The position will report to the Mine Maintenance Superintendent.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have an Electrical/Mechanical/Operational underground background with an interprovincial red seal or a technical designation

Work Experience

  • Possess 3+ years of experience operating in an industrial maintenance environment
  • 3+ years in a proactive maintenance planner/scheduling or coordinating role

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and operations to assist in an integrated schedule
  • Create and maintain asset data including the asset hierarchy, bills of materials, and work plans
  • Create work order plans that include time allowances, trades required, and necessary materials
  • Issue clear and concise daily progress reports, ensuring continuity of work execution
  • Liaise between different groups including construction, maintenance, capital group, and mine operations to investigate any delays or interruptions to ore supply to the mill
  • Manage asset PM schedules
  • Oversee an assigned mine maintenance team performance, provide mentoring to, and administration of the mine maintenance team
  • Provide a level of safe, efficient work in accordance with company goals
  • Provide a safe workplace by ensuring all site policies and procedures are being stringently adhered to, including lockout procedures
  • Supervise work completed by the maintenance team and direct the work of electricians, mechanics, and welders for work projects assigned
  • Work closely with Maintenance Execution, Maintenance Engineering, Capital, and Operations Departments to develop and advance maintenance workflow activities
  • Work with the training department to ensure training is completed
