Job Profile
The company is searching for a Mold Technician who will provide technical support to a variety of molding machines.
Work in a production environment, engage in continuous productive activity, and must meet requirements.
Tasks require a high degree of eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the use of both hands and arms on a repetitive basis for a full range of motion.
Frequently use hand and power tools.
Ensure smooth operations and support the diverse team.
Education Level
- Not indicated, a High School Diploma (a plus)
Work Experience
- At least 2 years of mold machine experience
- Experience operating and setting up mold machines
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to perform a vacuum sequence after changing material
- Ability to start and shut off the mold machine following proper sequencing
- Ability to use UV lighting chamber for identifying bad mix
- Assemble upper and middle sensors
- Perform painting operations on the intellirupter parts and sensors
- Perform sandblasting operations as required
- Required to participate in a medical surveillance program coordinated by S&C’s health service professionals.
- Setting up molds to prepare them for the production cycle.
- Successfully troubleshoot intermediate equipment issues
- Understand operation and PM requirements on various machines
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to use a variety of hand-held tools and air-impact tools.
- Ability to use basic math and measuring tools
- Ability to work from blueprints, ordinary drawings, and specifications.
