- Experience in planning daily activities, sequencing, or assigning work to support required goals and objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Accountable for all aspects of quality, cost, and schedule relating to area of responsibility.
- Accountable for all aspects of quality, cost, or schedule relating to area of responsibility.
- Conducting daily production coordination meetings and weekly meetings concerning Safety, Quality, Cost, and Schedule.
- Coordinating daily issues and problems with manufacturing planners, engineers, and technical leads regularly.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 and 14001 processes and audits will be a plus.
- Maintaining and Monitoring Safety, Performance, and Quality metrics as well as manpower adjustments on a daily regular basis.
- Monitoring and maintaining all required Compliance training, labor punches, and vacations.
- Planning daily activities for an average of 20 direct employees, sequencing and assigning work to support required goals and objectives.
- Possess the ability to decide and act appropriately with labor issues.
- Provide direct supervision to a crew of Metal fitters, Tig Welders, and tube benders for various thin-walled tube alloys.
- Skills to motivate employees and hold them accountable are essential.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

- Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts and cost reduction with an understanding of business metrics to drive performance.
- Familiarity with the Aeronautics organizational environment and data systems (QADS, SFM, ETG).
- FLEMOS experience
- Knowledge of 6S Activities and ISO9001 and 140001 Process and Audits.
- Prior management experience in a Tube and Weld Manufacturing environment, with experience using tools, machines, and systems typically used in Tube and Weld manufacturing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to energize a team and deliver results by modeling integrity and accountability.
