Job Profile

The company (ThyssenKrupp Materials CA) is hiring an NC Programmer who will provide programming support to the production floor.

Ensure that all products being run on a CNC machine have the necessary program and that it is accurate. Perform duties safely and reliably.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma (required)

Work Experience

  • Must have a College Certificate or relevant work experience (minimum 3 years)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in activities related to quality and lean, when requested.
  • Assist in any shop floor planning activities
  • Communicate with shop floor supervisors to improve programs
  • Create drawings for customers wherever necessary
  • Create NC codes for all CNC machines
  • Create nests to optimize material yield
  • Initiate tooling requirements wherever necessary
  • Maintain integrity and control over the program database
  • Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies
  • Obtain deviations through customer service if our tooling cannot meet customer requirements
  • Update programs when required
