Job Profile

The company is looking for an NDE Technician who will perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), GPS survey, and other field tasks to locate pipeline defects, perform in ditch assessment, as well as other service duties on pipeline systems to support Pipeline Services (PS) offerings.

Education Level

• High School Graduate or equivalent

Work Experience

• Must be ASNT NDT qualified level II in UT, MT. PT and Phased Array (PA) experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Completes service and daily reports as required for the tasks executed.
• Maintains DOT Operator Qualification task requirements to work on regulated pipeline systems, as well as TDWs Pure Safety training requirements, as required quarterly.
• Maintains NDT experience time log to support certification requirements.
• Maintains weekly expense and time-sheet reports and submits on time.
• Utilizes NDT and GPS equipment to execute defect location and assessment tasks to support the PS department’s pipeline integrity inspection services.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Basic knowledge of pipeline alignment sheets and the GPS coordinate system.
• Working knowledge of PCs or electronic testing equipment.

Work Environment

• Must be able to lift and carry lightweight to heavyweight objects and use basic power and hand tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass DOT screening processes.
• Position requires 75% to 80% travel to locations throughout the United States.
