Job Profile
The company is recruiting an NDT Technician who will perform non-destructive inspection of components to ensure compliance with the Company’s quality system, specifications, and customer requirements.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhere to and promote Company’s health, safety, and environmental policies while performing job duties
- Adhere to and promote the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
- Analyze, interpret, evaluate, and document NDT inspection results under company procedures, work instructions, applicable standards, specifications, and procedures
- Embrace/implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activities
- Ensure the completeness of work in process documentation
- Ensure compliance with the Company Repair Station Manual/Quality Manual
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Manual
- Maintain and promote “One Chromalloy” Core Values
- Maintains and promotes 5S standards in the work area
- Read and interpret all inspection data and customer requirements
- Read, interpret, and set up applicable NDT equipment
- Record inspection, test data, and statistics manually or with the aid of a computer or computer-based system
- Use of comparators, micrometers, scales, and calipers
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team
- Able to read and interpret documents, write reports and correspondence clearly and informatively
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- High degree of professionalism with a focus on customer care
- Strong computer skills
Work Environment
- Exposure to heights, confined spaces, or hazardous materials
- May involve travel and irregular hours
- Often works in physically demanding conditions
- Requires the use of safety gear and inspection equipment
- Works in industrial, construction, or field environments
