Job Profile
The company is searching for an NDT Technician II to join its Quality and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED minimum
Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working in Nadcap-certified facilities (preferred)
License/Certification
- Previously Held Certification of Level II NDT Certification (PT)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Accurately complete work orders, data inputs within the ERP system
- Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and certifications.
- Mentor and train other personnel as needed
- Operate and maintain tools for penetrant inspection, visual inspection
- Operate, maintain, and service specialized equipment
- Perform visual and nondestructive inspections of welds.
- Read and comply with work instructions
- Read and understand Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, and ISO documentations
- Write technical and accurate reports as needed
- Professionally perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must abide by safety regulations required in these areas, including wearing the required PPE
- Read and adhere to verbal and written instructions in English
Work Environment
- This position is in a room that is kept dark
- Physical requirements of the ability to stand for long periods and be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
