Job Profile
The company is seeking an experienced and talented individual to be responsible for manufacturing ultra-clean orbital weldment assemblies in a Class 100 cleanroom environment.
Educational Qualification
- The prospective candidates should have passed a High School Diploma or Equivalent qualification from a welding school.
- Some technician coursework and/or AA technical degree/equivalent program is preferred.
Work Experience
- Related welding experience preferred.
- Previous Orbital Welding experience is a plus
- Basic mechanical skills and a willingness to learn.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Follows all safety rules and procedures.
- Perform small adjustments to weldments utilizing hand tools.
- Ensure weldments are built to specification based on the blueprint.
- Operates and maintains equipment and tooling relative to the operation of orbital welding.
- Performs daily, routine, and preventative maintenance on cleanroom equipment.
- Performs orbital welding of gas lines ranging from ¼” to ½” in diameter.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and interpret written information and blueprints.
- Basic mechanical skills and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of common hand tools and power tools; ability to identify common hardware and build to simple instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused.
- Mechanically inclined with a fair level of dexterity to construct simple assemblies or parts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to sit for sustained periods
- Ability to lift over 25 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp
- Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks
- The ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods may be required
Environmental Exposure
- Subject to noise levels
- Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable
- May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computers, etc.
- Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals
Overnight Travel
The work may require out-of-town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting).
