Job Profile

The company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for selling our welding products to customers within your assigned territory.

Work closely with branch managers, inside sales representatives, and other members of our team to provide excellent customer service and increase sales in your territory.

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not required); equivalent experience in sales will be considered

Work Experience

• Possess relevant work experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date on product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Build relationships with existing customers to identify needs and present appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and generate reports on sales activity and forecasts.
• Prepare and deliver formal sales presentations to key decision-makers.
• Prospect for new business by visiting potential clients in their place of business or at industry events.
• Work with branch managers to develop strategies for increasing market share in your territory.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to build strong customer relationships through active listening and understanding of customer needs.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of industrial gases and welding equipment is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.

Work Environment

• Willingness to travel extensively within your territory (50%+)
