Job Profile
The company is hiring a Pipe Welder who will support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strive to improve safety, quality, and efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
Education Level
- High School or GED equivalent
Work Experience
- 2+ years of experience with TIG welding of pipe, flanges, and fittings; experience with MIG welding and stainless (strongly preferred)
- ASME Certification (a huge plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for joining and repairing pipes and tubular components according to schematic or blueprint requirements.
- Assist with assembly and other warehouse duties as needed.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic math skills
- Mechanically inclined, production-oriented, and safety and quality conscious
- Must be able to provide your weld helmet for the weld test
- Understanding of devices such as micrometers, calipers, straightedges, and other various measuring tools
