Job Profile

The company is searching for a Pipe Fitter who will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in industrial and commercial settings.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

  • Completion of a pipe fitting apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
  • Experience with cutting, threading, and bending pipes

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and welders, to complete projects
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes to fit specifications
  • Install and maintain piping systems, including valves, fittings, and pumps
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems
  • Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning piping systems and components
  • Test piping systems for leaks and other defects

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of piping systems and components
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
