Job Profile
The company is seeking a Plant Manager who will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
Provides support and assistance to the production plant.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Management or equivalent from a college or university
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words
- Attend and participate in company meetings or meetings on behalf of the company as needed
- Become a qualified tester in all departments to fill in when needed
- Communicate with the Director of Manufacturing regarding production schedule and daily activities
- Communicate with the Maintenance Department for any building or equipment repairs as needed
- Complete monthly cycle counts and maintain proper inventory levels for production items
- Comply with all administrative guidelines for completing required reports in a timely manner
- Conduct regular safety meetings and monitor employees to ensure work is performed safely
- Coordinate shipments to and from customers
- Coordinate with the Director of Manufacturing in order to conduct interviews, hire employees, issue corrective actions, and execute performance reviews for the GCT Plant employees
- Ensure A/R is within the expected parameters
- Ensure the plant is fully operational during normal working hours
- Enter customer orders and assist with billing as needed
- Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
- Implement and monitor all required DOT, OSHA, and FDA regulations while maintaining proper documentation
- Maintain propane and propylene inventory control
- Manage, train, and develop all employees assigned to the GCT Plant
- Schedule and communicate production responsibilities for testing and fuel gas filling
- Other related duties as assigned

- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally while leading all levels of the organization
- Ability to delegate and monitor assigned tasks to completion
- Ability to identify workflow discrepancies, errors, or problems and take needed corrective action
- Ability to reach operation and distribution decisions based on logical and analytical reasoning ability
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work on several projects simultaneously
- Capable of working in diverse and oftentimes unpleasant weather conditions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently and have the ability to establish efficient work schedules
- Must have the ability to operate all necessary equipment
- Must possess a desire to continually learn new skills and grow as a manager
- Must possess the ability to move or lift products and materials of varied sizes and weights, sometimes in excess of 75 pounds
- Position requires bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing
- Vision is correctable to within normal range for completion of reports
- Willingness to provide feedback and corrective action to employees as needed
