Job Profile

The company (Arcosa Aggregates) is searching for a Plant Utility Technician to join its team.

Education Level

  • Not mentioned, a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience (preferred)
  • Fabrication and welding ability (a plus)
  • Part 48 MSHA training (a plus)


  • Be involved with maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
  • Learn to run crushing and screening equipment along with mobile plant equipment such as loaders and haul trucks.
  • Maintain and repair plant equipment according to company standards.
  • Pre-shift equipment for safety defects and report them to a supervisor.
  • Work on plant equipment such as Conveyors, Screens, and Crushers.


  • A maintenance background in crushing and screening
  • Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
  • The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 60 pounds
  • The ability to take direction from a supervisor or leadman
  • The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
