Job Profile

The company is hiring a Plumber who will perform skilled work involving plumbing under the direction of the area supervisor or lead man in the assigned department, including but not limited to Water supply lines assemblies, DWV line assemblies, and common plumbing connection (connection sinks, toilets, etc.)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Adheres to all company general and safety policies
• Builds product to design specification utilizing drawings
• Ensures quality in every task performed
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Verifies conformance of finished goods

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to carry out not only simple but complex oral and written instructions.
• Ability to comprehend additional training in relation to the performing of the work duties.
• Ability to cross-train and perform many different tasks across multiple departments.
• Ability to operate hand tools including but not limited to drills; grinders; heat guns; and rivet guns.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Basic math skills
• High level of attentiveness and physical coordination to perform the work activities safely and productively.

Work Environment

• Most of the work tasks are performed indoors and subjected to environmental and weather conditions changes.
• Sitting/standing: Stands 100 % of the time
• Environment: The shop is not air-conditioned
• Physical task: Must bend, squat, lift, push, or pull material up to 50 lbs frequently.
