The company is hiring a Pre-Fabricator Technician to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma
• Graduate Degree or better

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience operating a metal/plate shear
• 2 years of experience operating a press brake

Duties/Responsibilities

• Preparation of various metals following blueprints to supply the fabrication/welding department utilizing tools and equipment to include but not limited to bandsaws, plate shear, ironworker, belt sander, and hand tools.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
• Accurately read a tape measure
• Basic blueprint reading
• Basic Math Skills
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
• Identify fraction and decimal equivalents
• Willingness to learn
