The company is seeking a Process Engineer to join its team.

Education Level

Work Experience

  • 2+ years in a similar role within the manufacturing industry; steel experience (strongly preferred)
  • CAD Experience
  • Previous experience with Automation
  • Lasers, press brakes, machining centers, plasma, and welding experience (preferred)
  • Experience in materials control (flow of material and parts in and out of the plant), production control (efficient production process), and quality control (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Determine the most cost-effective ways to use basic factors of production (people, equipment, materials, information, and energy) to produce a product.
  • Develop manufacturing processes, design fixtures, identify workflows, and study ways to improve efficiency.
  • Primarily concerned with the standardization of processes, equipment specifications, procurement, and estimating.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Create SOP and Work Instructions
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to facilitate training and develop documentation.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and IATF 16949
  • Strong organizing, planning, and multitasking skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (notably Excel) and ERP systems
