Job Profile

The company is looking for a Product Fabricator who has a basic knowledge of machining and the fabrication of metal components.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants may be required a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• The candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in metal fabrication
• Previous experience in plasma cutting, lathe, sheet metal forming, manufacturing, or other related fields

Duties/Responsibilities

• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Form sheet metal using press breaks, rollers, sheer and other machines
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Use Bridgeport and lathe to drill, bore, and mill steel parts

• Blueprint reading
• Bridgeport mill operation
• Metal forming and cutting equipment operation
• Metal forming assembly
• Plasma cutting equipment operation
• Spot welder operation
• Waterjet cutting machine operation (trained as a backup operator)

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to handle physical workload
• Existing skills or exposure to the use of a micrometer/caliper, basic mathematics, industrial equipment, or industrial manufacturing environment are extremely helpful.
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
