The company is searching for a Production Assembler to join its Industrial team.

Educational Level

  • High School Education
  • College or Trade School (preferred)

Work Experience

  • 2 or more years of electrical experience (preferred)
  • Computer experience (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Be proficient in building feeders, controls, weld heads, and feed tubes, installing software, and troubleshooting complicated technical issues with SEF, SWS Weld Systems, and Spare parts.
  • Be proficient in reading mechanical blueprints, basic electrical and electronic schematics, wiring lists and diagrams, assembly prints, and bills of materials.
  • Be proficient in using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and electrical multi-meters for checking resistance and continuity as well as other mechanical and electrical measuring tools.
  • Capable of soldering wires and cables as well as electronic components.
  • Complete all SEF, SWS Weld Systems related paperwork, checks, and prepping.
  • Have a working knowledge of general fastening hardware terminology and be able to identify between different types of screws, nuts, and washers.
  • Identify basic electrical and electronic components including but not limited to diodes, resistors, capacitors, and relays on prints and actual components.
  • Keeps area clean and segregated.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form. Deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to read safety rules, instructions in the use of maintenance of shop tools and equipment, and methods and procedures.
  • Be able to identify basic electrical and electronic components including but not limited to diodes, resistors, capacitors, and relays on prints and actual components.
  • Be able to read mechanical, basic electrical, and electronic schematics, wiring lists and diagrams, assembly prints, and bills of materials.
  • Be capable of using basic calipers, micrometers, and electrical multi-meters for checking resistance and continuity.
  • Be capable of using basic hand tools, taps, dies, hand drills, drill press, and hand grinder, cut-off saw.
  • Capable of soldering wires, cables as well as electronic components.
  • Computer experience (required).
  • Have a working knowledge of general fastening hardware terminology and be able to identify between different types of screws, nuts, and washers.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions when receiving assignments.
