Job Profile

The company is looking for a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for directing the efforts of the warehouse operations staff.

Education Level

• Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or commensurate experience

Work Experience

• 3+ years in a heavy industrial setting in a supervisory role; steel service-center experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience with the following CNC Machines, Press Brakes, Shot Blast Machines,

Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring all work is coordinated, minimizing downtime, reviewing the daily personnel needs, and recommending OT and reduction in hours as needed.
• Help oversee shipments, ensuring quality products and on-time delivery.
• Additionally, work closely with other Supervisors, as well as the Inside Sales and Production Planning departments to determine machine scheduling based on customer delivery dates, material availability, processing requirements, and logical methods of distribution.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels in the company
• Ability to work OT as needed, including weekends
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High energy and drive with stellar communication skills
• Proven ability to both lead and mentor others
• Strong administrative support and computer skills (Microsoft Suite, ERP Systems)
