Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Production Supervisor who will supervise the daily activity of operations and production personnel while maintaining a safe, organized environment to produce quality products efficiently and on-time adhering to Thermon’s Quality Policy.

Education Level

• High School Diploma (minimal education requirement)
• Bachelor or Associate degree (preferred)

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of managing personnel (preferred) and having responsibility for hiring and participating in disciplinary decisions
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to assure quality, safety, and efficiency
• Establish production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Monitor capacity to ensure adequate staff is available and consult with management to ensure a balanced workforce is maintained
• Monitor the cost of manufactured products and perform adjustments as necessary
• Monitor inventory and direct corrections in MRP to maintain accurate data
• Plan, review, and assign production orders to fill sales orders or inventory demand
• Recommend and implement improvement of procedures and changes within product lines
• Regularly inspect equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Remain current, abide by and assure all other personnel follow company procedures and manufacturing specifications.
• Supervise employees and is responsible for their performance
• Supervise personnel, perform annual reviews for employees, and follow company guidelines for personnel management
