Job Profile
The company is looking for a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for achieving all established safety, environmental, quality, operational, and financial goals set for the production department.
Operate with the lowest possible manufacturing costs and provide overall support and direction to supporting staff.
Communicate with internal and external customers as needed.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a production environment
Credible Experiences-
- 5+ years machining experience (Mazak, Haas)

Duties/Responsibilities
- Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Comply with relevant AS9100D procedures and work closely with the Quality Control Department as needed to maintain AS9100D certification status.
- Continuously evaluate production equipment and processes to ensure competitiveness in the industry. Manage workflow to meet delivery dates and on-time performance.
- Ensure equipment is maintained to achieve production requirements and provide a safe and clean work environment.
- Maintain workflow by setting process variables (cycle times), observing efficiency, and equipment performance.
- Manage tooling – interface with VMI tooling vendor, order tooling, and organize tooling area.
- Monitor levels of production, shipments, labor performance, scrap, rejects, and housekeeping. Take action to correct unfavorable deviations to improve trends.
- Promote cost reduction opportunities and delegate responsibility for action.
- Promote proper branch operations, policies, and goals toward improving branch profitability in all areas.
- Promote safety policies and lead by example.
- Promotes customer requirements.
- Schedule jobs in production in conjunction with the office production schedule.
- Verify the readiness of a job (kitting) before it is sent to production (tooling, fixtures, material, program validation).
- Other duties and assignments as required.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Proficiency in standard office and database programs/equipment
