The company is hiring a Production Technician I to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma

Work Experience

• 2-3 years of industrial plant/cryogenic plant experience
• Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment
• Understanding of control valve functions and systems used to control flows and pressures on industrial tanks

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate and control of equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption, and carbon dioxide plants.
• Accountable for the care and maintenance of plant mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical devices and equipment.
• Provide support to various types of processing plants in order to support startups, training and leave coverage for normal production technicians.

Preferred Qualifications

• Air Separation – A basic understanding of air separation and associated technologies (a plus)
• Air Separation Plant or related industrial experience (a plus)
• Cryogenics Operations – Natural Gas (a plus)
• Electrical/Instrumentation background (a plus)

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Refrigeration – A basic understanding of refrigeration systems (a plus)
• Water Treatment – understanding the water treatment principles and equipment (a plus)

Work Environment

• Must be able to share on-call responsibilities to facilitate uninterrupted plant operation.
• Must be able to work overtime and off shifts when requested.
• Must have the ability to work alone, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel Occasionally. (1-33% of work time)
