Job Profile

The company is seeking a Production Welder who will weld pre-formed chassis with precision in a manufacturing environment.

Welders must be able to read drawings and fabricate them based on drawing design, specifications, and procedures.

The welders should be highly proficient in MIG/Stick welding along with the ability to perform light fabrication on smaller components.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants may be required to have a High School Diploma

Work Experience

• The candidates should be MIG/stick welding expertise.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe working practices to maintain shop standards
• Demonstrate a “CAN-DO” attitude and excel in a team environment
• Possess good communication skills and an ability to adapt to changing situations
• Provide high-quality workmanship through neatness, organization, and attention to detail
• Self-starter and motivated
• Successfully pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug test
• Use time management skills to meet deadlines without sacrificing the quality of work
• Willingness to work OT and Saturday as needed

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools
• Forklift and overhead crane operation a plus
• Light fabricating skills
• Maintain and use equipment in a safe manner
• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Required to grind/clean work
• Torch and plasma cutting
• Use of portable grinder, hand file, and/or scraper as needed
• Weld parts in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
