Job Profile

The comapy is hiring a Project Engineer who will collaborate with the sales team and customers to understand end-user requirements, select equipment and design systems appropriate for the application, and manage projects throughout the project life cycle.

Reports directly to the Engineering Manager of the PSF Division.

Education Level

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree

Work Experience

• Familiarity with CAD software a plus (AutoCAD Autodesk)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Create submittal documents by transferring design drawings onto project title blocks
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Make necessary engineering calculations to support product selection/recommendation
• Preparation of integrated system estimates and proposals
• Present clear verbal and written technical explanations to customers
• Review customer technical specifications
• Selection of pump, valves, and control equipment
• Troubleshoot technical problems and provide recommendations for customers
• Use the customer FTP project website to upload submittal documents and download returned documents

• Ability to take initiative, think creatively, and work independently
• Design, materials, and operational requirements of rotating equipment (pumps, seals, and valves) are highly desired
• Exercise professional engineering judgment to achieve results consistent with objectives

• Problem-solve and work constructively with customers and co-workers
• Resolve system design issues
• Terminology, methods, practices, and techniques used in project engineering and manufacturing
