The company (Siemens Industry) is hiring a Project Manager to join its team.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related Engineering field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation
Work Experience
- Requires 5 years of experience with the following: managing complex projects in the utility/energy sector (Power Protection/Controls, Transmission, Generation, and Distribution).
- Requires experience with the following: managing multi-disciplinary teams, including program management, services, engineering, operations, construction, and procurement; experience presenting complex issues to multi-level audiences and effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal and external customers; experience interpreting and reporting results to senior management as well as customers; experience developing project execution plans and aligning execution plan with all stakeholders;
License/Certification
- Project Management Professional Certification.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Align customer expectations across the project cycle and lead single and multi-product medium voltage solutions projects.
- Be responsible for the successful execution of projects, from project initiation through final closeout.
- Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion.
- Direct diagnostics with the ability to determine root cause and corrective actions.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
- Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Provide regular updates to the team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assigned project(s).
- Work in a matrix-style organization requiring excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Work Environment
