Job Profile

The company is searching for a Project Manager who will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing IT-related projects.

The position requires a deep understanding of managing complex projects.

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business, or equivalent work experience

Work Experience

• 6-8 years of experience in an Information Technology project management or lead systems analysis function
• Large and complex global application implementation experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be accountable for on-time and on-budget project execution in IT, serve as the first point of contact/liaise between project stakeholders and project team to ensure project success
• Collaborate with Project Owner and stakeholders to assess project risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place
• Create, execute, monitor, and revise project plan to meet changing project requirements and resources; plan, prepare for, and facilitate all project status meetings; manage resolution of project issues including proper escalation to project stakeholders.
• Document project change requests, and assess change impact
• Facilitate issue identification and resolution
• Facilitate project procurement (products and services required by third parties) and consult IT resources as needed; manage project time and cost expectations with project stakeholders
• Identify project resource requirements and timelines and negotiate with IT service owners on resource availability and allocation; lead team members to complete assigned tasks within specified timelines and ensure all team members feel engaged, productive, and effective
• Manage project budget
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from project initiation through closure
• Monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Provide direction and support to the project team

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide effective problem-solving
• Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of a full life cycle project implementation and support
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with all levels of the organization
• Experience in wholesale distribution is a plus
• Experience leading and managing project team members and deliverables
• The high degree of proficiency with Google Workspace, Service Now Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Smartsheet is a plus
• PMP certification and familiarity with Agile methodology are required
• Proven ability to understand complex business processes and suggest possible solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals
• Willingness and ability to travel as required
