Job Profile
The company is hiring a Project Quality Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
Champion GEMTE Americas Project Execution Quality Group’s efforts and will be responsible to the Manager of Quality-Americas.
Responsible for all aspects of Quality activities associated with the engineering, procurement, and construction of the Air Products SOG and SOE projects.
Require the individual to function with minimal supervision and be proactive in ensuring quality in all spheres.
Require close interaction with the company’s Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction execution teams to ensure the successful execution of the Company’s Quality Management program.
Educational Qualification

Work Experience
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the oil/gas industry
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a responsible QA/QC position in related equipment manufacturing and field construction of capital projects.
- Expertise in Welding, NDT systems, and ISO auditing is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience establishing project quality systems meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in managing large-scale capital projects by performing regular audits and critical inspections as and when required.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct Quality surveillance audits during the different stages of project execution, i.e., Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases with timely management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s objectives, requirements, priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations, and guidelines provided by the company from time to time.
- Ensure the provision of proper technical coordination and administration services to the project management group.
- Ensure quality resources are planned and hired for quality execution of projects.
- Ensure that all actions, works, and services undertaken by EP, EPC, and EPCM Contractor, are in accordance with the respective Contractual Agreement.
- Ensure that cost-effective solutions in engineering design are adopted while maintaining quality, constructability, operability, and maintainability.
- Ensure the project is built in conformance with the specified codes, standards, specifications, and jurisdictional requirements.
- Ensuring that QA/QC culture is visible across all projects at all levels.
- Manage and guide the QA/QC activities during the execution of EP, EPC, and EPCM contracts in a manner that achieves the project quality requirements within the Quality Standards, Cost, and Schedule targets set by the Company.
- Oversee contractor QA/QC performance through spot and planned surveillance audits.
- Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and construction erection activities and report any non-conformances and follow up on the required corrective and preventative actions.
- Provide inputs to the collection of Lessons Learned for the project.
- Review and approve Suppliers, Contractors, and Subcontractor quality programs including Project Specific Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)
