Job Profile

The company is seeking a Pulse Welder who will weld metal parts together using specified wire welding processes.

Use Pulse welder to assemble fabricated metal assemblies in an efficient manner to maximize production of a variety of garbage truck models.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants may be required a High School Diploma

Work Experience

• Possess 1 year of experience in welding or fabrication (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Use a Pulse welder to assemble fabricated metal assemblies in an efficient manner to maximize production.
• Produce strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent.
• Follow required procedures and use appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process.
• Weld vertical, flat, and overhead with good penetration.
• Maintain/produce a level of output that will minimize production delays.

Other Duties-

• Operate the equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment or its operations to the Safety Department and Maintenance Department.
• Read tape measure and angle finder.
• Read blueprints and cut lists.
• Operate plasma cutter and acetylene torches.
• Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
• Assist other individuals in areas when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Good communication skills
• Math skills including fractions and angles
