Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. HPS is engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes and has been actively growing that segment of the business.

Job Profile

The company is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join its team.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants may be required a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Calibrate and repair dimensional gauges and various electronic devices and welders.
• Must be able to utilize gauge management software system.
• Must be able to write and communicate effectively in formal reports.
• Must be familiar with creating purchase requisitions.
• Perform and document product audits to determine compliance with drawings, specifications, process procedures, and routings.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and routings.
• Use metrology equipment such as micrometers, calipers, surface plates, height gauges, fillet weld gauges, and other advanced measurement techniques in the assessment of material and product quality.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read and write fluently in English.
• Ability to safely move and walk through production, storage, and shipping areas.
• Physical strength to safely lift 15-20 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
