Job Profile
The company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector who will perform documented inspections in the verification of conformance of parts to applicable drawings, procedures, specifications, and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for the content of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and project quality plan according to customer’s and Flowserve’s specifications and international standards.
Besides, responsible for defining, advising, and controlling all project-required QC documents.
The QC Inspector reports directly to the QC Supervisor/Manager.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
- Possess 3-5 years of relevant experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Documenting dimensional and visual inspections of the drawing or applicable procedures
- Documenting non-conforming material utilizing an NCR (nonconforming materials) process
- Preparing and defining test and inspection requirements for the required projects such as ITP and procurement specifications
- Reviewing and approving supplier’s manufacturing and testing documents/procedures and taking care of approval (when required) of these documents by the customer, his customer, and the authorized inspection body
- Reviewing and verifying internal and external qualifications of suppliers, welders, and NDE personnel with regard to Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE), welding procedures, or other applicable requirements.
- And any other duties assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Effective utilization of CMMs is a plus
- Previous manufacturing experience
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Flexible, eager to learn, accurate, and analytical with a positive, can-do attitude
- Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the established quality standards, laws, and regulations of national and international authorities
- Knowledge of welding, NDE, and quality systems
- Must have knowledge of inspection equipment generally found in machining, assembly, and test operations
- Operational Excellence and High Level of Customer Service Standard
