The company is recruiting a Quality Engineer (Associate/Mid-Level) to join its team.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited course of study
Work Experience
- 1+ years of experience with data analysis or data mining
- 1+ years of experience with Root Cause Corrective Analysis (RCCA) and corrective analysis
- Experience applying audit standards, procedures, and techniques.
- Experience working with AS9100 or similar QMS standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Level 3-
- 3 or more years of related work experience or a combination of education and experience
- 1+ year of experience using Data Software systems, Minitab, Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management or engineering project planning.
- Experience with SPC and Statistical Data
- Experience with special processes, metallurgical, and aircraft tube and duct welding process
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
- Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved.
- Develops sections of quality metrics, design, and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company, and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
- Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
- Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
- Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
- Works under general supervision.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Experience developing and utilizing detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
