The company is hiring a Quality Inspector to join its team.
Education Level
- Minimum of a High School Education
Work Experience
- 6 months or more of attention to detail-oriented work
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing/Industry experience
- Quality Inspection experience
- Welding experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing quality and timely results.
- Generate spreadsheets for data collection.
- Help pack products into shipping containers as needed.
- Interact with department management, production, and other inspectors as needed. Daily communication with supervisor and operators on potential defects
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Perform final inspections of all products to ensure products meet established specifications prior to shipment using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision prior to shipment.
- Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
- Send bad products back to production to be fixed, before allowing products to be shipped out or used in production.
- Test incoming/outgoing materials.
- Work with Quality Supervisor and production team to develop more efficient processes and higher quality standards

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- May have to lift or move items over 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
