The company is hiring a Quality Inspector to join its team.

Education Level

• Minimum of a High School Education

Work Experience

• 6 months or more of attention to detail-oriented work

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing/Industry experience
• Quality Inspection experience
• Welding experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing quality and timely results.
• Generate spreadsheets for data collection.
• Help pack products into shipping containers as needed.
• Interact with department management, production, and other inspectors as needed. Daily communication with supervisor and operators on potential defects
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Perform final inspections of all products to ensure products meet established specifications prior to shipment using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision prior to shipment.
• Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
• Send bad products back to production to be fixed, before allowing products to be shipped out or used in production.
• Test incoming/outgoing materials.
• Work with Quality Supervisor and production team to develop more efficient processes and higher quality standards

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
• May have to lift or move items over 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
