Job Profile
The company is hiring a Quality Manager who will plan and coordinate the quality program and NDE activities to ensure conformance to requirements, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement for products manufactured.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have completed a 4-year Degree from a college/university
Work Experience
- Possess 5+ years of quality management experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Appraise employee performance and make recommendations for change of status or salary adjustment.
- Assist customers and inspectors during scheduled visits
- Conducts and coordinates internal audits and training to ensure the plant maintains its compliance with ISO 9001/13485 standards.
- Develop and implement methods to eliminate lost time, scrap, and reportable accidents
- Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, processes, and products.
- Establish effective processes and procedures to achieve site goals for efficiency, training, and cost control
- Plans, promotes and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
- Promotes the effectiveness and timeliness of the corrective action system.
- Review defect data and make suggestions to reduce defects to management
- Source equipment and create processes, SOPs, and training on new equipment
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, Div. 1, and Section IX
Work Environment
- Frequent sitting and walking and occasional standing, stooping, bending, twisting
- Repetitive hand movements
- Work in an office and industrial manufacturing environment with possible exposure to temperature extremes, overhead objects, a material with rough edges odors associated with cutting and welding
