Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Quality Manager who will lead the welding and fabrication work.

Oversight the Quality Management System and ensure ISO compliance.

Provide support as part of the Production Management team so that all production processes are properly followed, and provide guidance and leadership to improve processes wherever an opportunity exists.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Degree from a college/university
  • Certified Weld Inspector (not required, preferred)

Work Experience

  • 6+ years of industry experience, welding and fabrication experience (required)
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems, ASME (ASME Codes) and Pipe welding standards
  • Experience working within a Welding and Fabrication environment

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws, and pose solutions to those flaws
  • Analyzing company processes and procedures.
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders to enhance productivity and staff satisfaction.
  • Communicating ideas and opinions to other members of management.
  • Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports
  • Develop KPIs and track leading and trailing metrics to drive improvement (internal defect rate and external customer concerns)
  • Developing process enhancement strategies.
  • Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
  • Establishing norms and standards of company performance.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow federal, state, and local regulations
  • Implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment
  • Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes.
  • Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control
  • Lead RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) for all customer concerns
  • Maintain all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, ASME Standards, and National Board Registry.
  • Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards and satisfy all regulatory requirements
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Staying up to date with developments in management and process optimization.
  • Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
  • Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
  • Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in processes.
  • Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
