The company is looking for a Quality Technician/Weld Destruct to join its team.

Education Level

Work Experience

  • Experience with GMAW and RSW applications
  • Experience using standard measurement, inspection, and testing equipment in the inspection of sheet metal parts and assemblies
  • Relevant manufacturing and automotive experience (preferred)

License/Certification

  • Must receive and maintain Level I NDT certification in UT

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Apply diverse process expertise in manufacturing

  • Calculate figures and amounts, such as percentages and proportions.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Above-average computer skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of quality/welding/manufacturing principles
  • Manage and schedule multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with minimal direct supervision.
  • Mechanical aptitude, critical/rational thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Tools Used

  • Pneumatic, hydraulic, electric power, and hand tools, gauges, and software as required.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to noise and machinery
  • Factory or lab environment
  • Handling sharp or heavy metal parts
  • Requires safety gear and precision
  • Standing and repetitive tasks daily
