Job Profile

The company is seeking an individual (Robot Pool Cleaner/Weld Setup Operator) to join its team for operational work needs.

Educational Qualification

  • No education level is mentioned, yet having a High School Diploma will be a plus.

Work Experience

  • Possess over 1 year, up to and including 3 years of experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Change belts, abrasive, contact, flapper wheel, tooling, and welding consumables as necessary.
  • Complete all required records, reports, and production documentation.
  • Detect and report faulty equipment, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Download, set up, operate and prepare routine welding and polishing on a variety of parts, and weldments for the required welds and finishes
  • Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials
  • Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition
  • Obtain proper data for each job
  • Perform duties required to set up and operate Robotic Welder and Polisher
  • Polish or weld the first piece, check proper weld and finishes, minimum thickness, and any imperfection.
  • Report any malfunctions to supervision
  • Responsible for loading and unloading materials, as well as setting up, aligning, changing, and adjusting tooling, and manual adjustments programming as required
  • Work from blueprints, work orders, and written/verbal instructions
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Use advanced trade math, handbooks, and specialized formulae – equivalent to an accredited apprenticeship
  • Training in Robotics
