Job Profile

The company is searching for a Robot Technician to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Must have prior experience in electrical maintenance and be familiar with standard repair procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Calibrate equipment according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Communicate repair parts requirements or other skills required for repair regarding breakdowns to the supervisor.
• Document resolution and parts used for repair and input to proper file or computer.
• Identify problems with equipment using verbal and written instructions.
• Maintain and repair robotic equipment and welding machines.
• Must be able to do major reconditioning of equipment controls as requested.
• Must be able to operate forklifts and other wheeled vehicles in the department.
• Must be able to work with standard welding equipment.
• Must understand and be able to do minimal machining.
• Operate robotic equipment for testing and repair of the equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Must have background in electrical and electronic circuitry etc. acquired through completion of technical schooling or apprenticeship program.
• Must show a good attendance record.
• Previous knowledge and training with CLOOS and ABB equipment or other robotic equipment.
