Job Profile
The company (Komatsu Mining Corporation) is seeking a Robotic Programmer to join its team.
Education Level
- Associate’s Degree (2 years of study beyond High School) or Equivalent Experience
Work Experience
- Experience in developing, supporting, and programming robotic welding operations in heavy fab environments is a plus
- Medium to heavy plate welding experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist in the design fixturing for robotic welding processes with support from the welding engineer
- Develop robotic welding processes with support from a welding engineer
- Ensure all welding meets appropriate welding codes with support from the welding engineer
- Support robotic welding processes
- Work safe and be an advocate for safety. Drive a culture of ZERO harm
- Work within the scope of lean manufacturing to ensure weld deposition is being maximized
- Write robotic welding programs with support from a welding engineer
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Knowledge of materials and properties
- Knowledge of Welding and International Codes and Standards a plus
- Writing procedures, reading, and interpreting drawings and standards are a plus
