Job Profile

The company is searching for a Robotic Welder Operator who will perform a variety of basic welding in all positions to ensure components are being welded to engineered specifications.

Education Level

  • Previous relevant experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Inspects weldments for obvious defects such as but not limited to weld spatter, rough welds, missing welds, and sharp corners/edges.
  • Performs basic maintenance of welding equipment to ensure proper working order.
  • Sets welding machine voltage and wire speed for proper fusion of metals following standard work methods and detailed drawings.
  • Welds assemblies to engineering specifications
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Basic blueprint reading (preferred)
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility or location

Work Environment

  • Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
  • Ability to stand or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
  • Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25 to 50 lbs.), and occasionally lifting heavy weight materials (up to 70 lbs.)
  • Somewhat disagreeable or hazardous conditions.
