Job Profile

The company is looking for a Robotic Welding Operator who will support the Welding Engineering Department and production requirements regarding the function and operation of the robotic welding cells.

Primarily involving the operation of the robotic welding cells.

Be responsible for recovery, maintenance, and the smooth running of the welding cells.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet basic schooling will be a plus

Work Experience

• Previous experience working with robotics (preferred)
• Previous experience in fabrication and welding

Duties/Responsibilities

• Become proficient in the use of the Fanuc robot via the teach pendant.
• Become proficient in the use of the Fronius welding equipment.
• Identify issues that could affect the welds. Make parameters changes accordingly.
• Identify possible issues that may affect the running of the cell.
• Maintaining the function and operation of the robotic welding cells.
• Perform maintenance duties e.g. changing liners and contact tips, ensuring the cold wire feed system is performing correctly.
• Process production components using certified robotic welding programs and techniques.
• Review weld torch pathways and re-teach where necessary.
• Support Welding Engineers to implement new products and improvements to the robotic welding cells.

• Confident communicator to provide feedback, training, and tuition.
• Good organizational skills
• Computer skills necessary
