Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
- Previous blast experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Previous experience in a shop, manufacturing, or fabrication environment
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhere to printed work instruction manuals
- Observe and practice safety procedures and policies, participate in department safety meetings and initiatives
- Perform maintenance on the blast booth
- Perform necessary touchups when needed
- Prep units before painting using a blasting booth and other hand-preparation methods
- Prime units before painting using a spray paint application
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Frequent heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, and material handling
- Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and occasional crawling
- The ability to work overtime and some Saturdays as needed
