The company is looking for a Senior CNC Machinist to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Degree or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience working with machine tools, both manual and CNC
• Apprenticeship or vocational training (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
• Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
• Must be proficient in setup in a CNC Mill.
• Operates and maintains manual lathe and milling machines and CNC mill.
• Plan a proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
• Preferred proficient in CNC programming and modification of existing programs.
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Select appropriate machines and settings for a given task.
• Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.

• Basic computer skills
• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
• Proficient in math
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
• Working knowledge of safety protocols
