Job Profile

The company is seeking a Senior Coordinator (Weld Quality) to join its team.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have completed a High School or GED

Work Experience

  • Possess 3 years of minimum industry experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for clerical duties related to technical documentation of procedures and practices.
  • Ability to ensure proper upkeep of technical documents.
  • Works for hand and hand with Engineering.
  • Issues approved/revised blueprints provided by Engineering to appropriate depts.
  • Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, procedures, and policies of the Quality Control/Hydro department and inspections.
  • Experience with WPSs, NDE Reports, Weld Maps, Heat Maps, and MTRs
  • Coordinate Non-Destructive Testing required by project specifications and applicable construction codes.
  • Comprehension of construction drawings and weld details
  • Handle invoicing for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
  • Experience with ADP timekeeping.
  • Ability to provide accurate and helpful information.
  • Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent organizational/sequencing skills.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must have a variety of computer software skills used in the Quality Control/Hydro department.
  • Requires the ability and familiarity with technical documentation preparation. Works under immediate supervision.

Working Conditions

  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions, and some heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Travel will be required.
  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Work within office, assembly and fabrication shop, and field environments.
