Job Profile
The company is searching for a Senior Maintenance Mechanic with extensive experience in maintaining, repairing, and servicing all types of machine tools and fabrication machines, including NC, CNC, DNC machines, and robots.
Possess a strong background in CNC equipment maintenance and be able to work to exact tolerances.
Education Level
- Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in machine tool repair, including CNC equipment maintenance, or 2 years of machine tool repair and maintenance and two years of machine operational experience.
- Experience in Machine tool maintenance, and basic hydraulics.
- Experience with Blueprint, technical data, and data model comprehension.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Determine methods and sequences of operations for maintaining, repairing, and servicing CNC equipment and other machine tools.
- Troubleshoot integrally related mechanical and hydraulic drive, control, and traversing systems to isolate malfunctions.
- Disassemble, repair, or replace defective parts, and make exacting coordinated adjustments as necessary to maintain electronic-hydraulic control sensitivity requirements and overall machine efficiency.
- Work with manufacturers’ personnel in repairing, and testing machine tools and associated equipment. Make adjustments as needed to ensure performance characteristics coincide with applicable specifications.
- Perform modification and repair work of CNC equipment and other machine tools as required.

- Knowledge of advanced or conventional control systems.
- Manufacturing shop best practices.
- Measurement theory and practice related to machine operations.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Proficient in the use of computers and computerized equipment.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance.
