Job Profile
The company is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer specializing in sheet metal fabrication and contributing to the reimagining of building performance.
Education Level
- University Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience
- 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in metal fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Experience with CNC machines, laser cutting, and bending processes.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Production, CI, and Quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of fabrication processes.
- Contribute to the buildup of new production cells and generate technical documentation for production processes.
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes and production layout for sheet metal CNC punching systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Drive process-related activities for New Product Introductions.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain and improve existing manufacturing methods to support Johnson Controls’ capacity expansion plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to sheet metal fabrication.
- Work directly with the Industrial Engineering Team to calculate and control optimal capacities of production lines and fabrication processes.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
